Back end Developer

Job Role Summary

The Identity & Access Management Applications support team is a globally dispersed team (Houston, Curitiba and India) that develop and maintain the IT applications around identity & access. It’s a total of 20+ applications, both in-house and vendor supported (i.e.: Access Manager, WebBAR, Emurald, Enterprise Directory, etc).

Job Role Responsibilities

o Develop applications based on an internally defined architecture and software development best practices
o Maintain source code, source documentation, and version control
o Code and debug internally developed applications
o Develop plug-in modules to third party software
o Follow and enhance Agile development methodology and processes
o Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
o Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant technical solutions
o Create compelling user interfaces and experiences
o Optimize performance

• Support responsibilities may include:
o Collaborate with vendors to integrate third party software into a corporate computing environment
o Install, configure, and deploy software which may include:
o Configure shared services (web, database, license, etc)
o Coordinate testing and troubleshooting with domain experts
o Develop scripts to deliver applications

• General support responsibilities include:
o Reviews with application and user support contacts to update application documentation
o Collaborate within a global IT organization to resolve issues
o Coordinate and communicate with team members throughout the software development and support cycles
o Ensure change management procedures are followed
o Assess and mitigate application security exposures

Expected Level of Proficiency

- 3+ years of experience in design, development and implementation of web and client/server applications
- Technical expertise in web technologies such as ASP.NET, HTML, SQL Server, IIS or other web integrations technologies
- Must have strong skills and/or experience in several of the following:
- Languages:.NET (C#), WebService and Restul, MVC 4, HTML5 / CSS3, Responsiveness, JavaScript, jQuery
- Databases: SQL Server (ETL, Development in Stored Procedures / Trigger, Working with large amount of data)
- Toolkits: Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Data Tools
- Other: Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Software Architecture, Configuration Management, Change Management, Web-services, Debugging Tools, User Interface Design
