As Manager, India Risk and Resilience, you will be responsible for leading a team of Crisis Management, Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery professionals working to identify exposure to internal and external threats and organize resources to provide effective prevention, response, recovery, and restoration from any disruption to Micron’s critical operations.  In the event of a crisis or potential crisis, you will facilitate adequate response and recovery in order to protect Micron’s people, operations, and reputation.  You will be responsible for managing the Crisis and Business Continuity Management programs globally, achieving success with multiple complex projects while ensuring balance in allocation of resources. You will assure accurate design and tracking of programs to predict results and outcomes critical to success.

This position requires an understanding of Crisis and BC Management, the semiconductor industry, and strong networking skills. Knowledge of current Micron practices is helpful, but not required.

This position will require off-business hour availability and potential travel.

Essential Functions

  • Support the India Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery team in all aspects of the role ranging from global program implementation to team mentorship.
  • Assist in developing the program roadmap by providing India leadership and strategic guidance on design and implementation in accordance with program requirements, industry best-practices and standards
  • Lead implementation and maintenance of resilience programs. This includes:
    • Providing active support to daily oversight of the core program as well as cross-functional efforts such as recovery capability alignment and systems administration
    • Leading business continuity focused meetings with senior and executive management to provide awareness, gather support, and set the scope of the program
    • Identify and support process, system, and tool improvements specific to organizational resilience.  Determine resources required and seek appropriate budget for program roadmap.
    • Develop, maintain, and adhere to program policy, metrics, KPIs, training, exercises, regulatory requirements, and all other supporting governance activities
    • Partner with site leadership team and other stakeholders across the organization to enhance resilience capabilities of the Micron India site.
    • Ensure critical IT DR applications have fully documented, tested, executable plans that contain all required information, reflect current conditions from an IT infrastructure recovery standpoint, and are able to support the recovery objectives of the organization
    • Assist in preparation for audit events
    • During crisis events, create a fast, flat, and accurate flow of information from site level to the GRR team.  Ensure engagement and interaction from task owners and drive response, recovery, and restoration timelines across micron. 
    • Coach, mentor, motivate, supervise, and recognize program team members
    • Set metrics and targets for GRR program.  Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
    • Support Site EHS, creating robust process in building go-down scenarios, alternate work locations as BCP, create awareness on fire drills, floor wardens training etc.,
    • Manage Audits both internal and external related to BCP on Labs, datacentre & office.



  • 10 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD)
  • 5+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Strong understanding and experience with business continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery programs, methodologies, and applicable principles as well as their methods of implementation and maintenance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of resilience and recovery strategies in complex organizations
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams within a formalized methodology
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all groups and levels; must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with direct reports, business partners or vendors in remote locations
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-pressured environment
  • Strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at various organizational levels
  • High level of personal initiative, creativity and self-motivation
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s degree preferred in the field of Business, Technology, and/or Organizational Resilience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years in business continuity or related
  • Preferred studies include Business Administration, Business Continuity Management, Management Information Systems, and Computer Science
  • CBCI, CBCP, MBCP, ABCP, CRISC, or CISA certification
  • Familiarity with fundamental IT concepts, infrastructure & data center technologies
  • Familiarity with Semi-Conductor Industry or similar organization
  • Strong track record of collaboration and teamwork beyond direct-line reporting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Office 365 suite, disaster recovery and business continuity planning software, and program management
  • Applied experience in strategy development and implementation of automated workflows leveraging technology
  • Experience managing global teams with synchronized and aligned results.
