We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Identify patterns, connections and relationships across variables and make the connections across data sets to help others understand the broader system.
  • Lead the process of turning business questions, risks and issues into verifiable hypotheses, creating experiments and analysis to test them and make recommendations based on the analysis
  • Communicate complex analysis and insights to the c-suite
  • Provide guidance to the c-Suite and functional leaders on KPI's, metrics, and business decisions including accurate analysis of user and business data
  • Oversee our existing BI platform (primarily the ETL processes and dashboards which currently exist in Tableau) and respond to and assist team members in troubleshooting issues raised
  • 10 years’ experience leading teams in data and statistical analysis, with a deep understanding of explanatory power of data and hypothesis-driven analyses.
  • Advanced degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Math, Economics or in Computer Science with Modelling/Data Science coursework
  • Experience working with Senior and Executive leadership as a quantitative owner
  • Familiar with the evolving demands of a modern data platform architecture encompassing structured and unstructured data, batch and streaming flows, schema change management, and machine learning data consumption needs.
  • Practical experience of the implementation of data stewardship, including master data management, data quality, and data dictionaries.
  • Practical experience of working with ETL tools
  • Familiar with Microsoft Azure data technologies & processes such as Data Factory, SQL Server, SQL Database, SQL Blob Storage, Linked Services.
  • Practical experience of BI tool use, strong preference for Tableau expertise.
  • Proven track record of leadership and project management skills, running and executing BI & wider data projects whilst managing and coordinating multiple stakeholders of all levels
  • The ability to leverage strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills in order to be persuasive, encouraging and motivating in building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Experience of working in an agile development environment and ability to be flexible in times of change.
  • Experience or demonstrated potential to help build and manage a BI team
