The Solutions Centre of Excellence & Strategy group translates the requirements of customers to (digital) offerings and tailored solutions for hospitals and care providers in the Benelux. Within the Solutions CoE & Strategy team in Market Benelux, the Partnership team is providing MTS (Managed Technology Services) and Innovative solutions beyond equipment and maintenance to target partnerships and strategic collaborations with hospitals. The solutions are based on bundling technology, financing and advanced services. In some cases alliances will be formed with third parties. This requires close management of partners and development of customer relationships.
As our ambition is to grow in this strategic domain, we are expanding our team with a senior Consultant / BID manager. We offer you a senior professional, customer-facing role. You will be responsible for engaging hospital middle management (i.e. department heads) and executive levels in empathic and compelling ways with commercial drive and leading the bid management process to come to a customer specific proposition. You will be the direct contact for district management and account managers when a possible opportunity occurs. The aim is to enable the district organizations to build and maintain customer specific solutions, which create value for the client’s business.
You are responsible for
As Senior Consultant / BID manager, you will shape long strategic partnerships (LSP) with hospitals by understanding their needs and effectively translating this into business plans. Furthermore, you will:
Deliver pre-sales consultancy activities for selected MTS opportunities with nominated accounts. Make and deploy consultancy plans for the Market in relationship with MTS projects.
Build strong hospital Management network and build personal role as a “Trusted Advisor” in the regional Healthcare market
Responsible for bid management for selected projects
Successful closure of partnership (-s) and advisory opportunities
Multi-year investment plans for new partnerships.
Support the Head of Strategy, Innovation, Solutions & Partnerships in the development of the market´s LSP strategy and development of new solutions
Co-develop new propositions for the LSP / Solutions portfolio
Scope bid team resources and bid budget for the sales project
Drive process of timely customer documentation plus approval
Handover of agreed offering to Program manager who will drive implementation
Add customer offers to repository including win/loss analysis
Contribute to professionalization activities

You will be part of the Solutions CoE Eindhoven and report to the leader of this hub (Head of Strategy, Innovation, Solutions & Partnerships). The team consists of Strategic Business Architects, Bid Managers and Financial Business Consultants. Your team home base is High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, but your working area is the Benelux market
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
We ask for an ambitious, open-minded person, with proven track record in or around hospital environment. Furthermore you should be/have:
Bachelor or Master’s degree (e.g. Business management with Hospital management specialization)
8 years relevant customer facing experience in or around a hospital environment and demonstrated project management skills of cross-functional teams.
Able to act on Board of Management level (BoM)
Able to strongly relate to Hospital professionals at all levels
Strong Consultative selling skills
Strong influential leadership, ability to drive productive collaboration in virtual/temporary teams, holding all contributors accountable to deliver quality output, in time
Excellent interpersonal communication -and negotiation skills
Good understanding of how Hospitals are managed and processes within a hospital
Established network in the market preferred
Analytical, experience in making business plans, proven strategic mindset
Language requirement: mother tongue Dutch language, fluent in English. Mastery of French is a plus.
Bid / project management skills
Balancing bigger picture and details, excellent writing skills
Self-starter with drive, determination and focus
Easily connecting to all-levels of Customers, Third Parties and within Philips
