The role
The Victorian team are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Botanist to join their skilled and well-resourced group of staff , working on a diverse range of projects in this permanent opportunity .
I n addition to offering enormous growth opportunity for career development, you will report into the recently appointed Victorian Botany Team Leader, who brings over 20 years specialist experience in ecological assessments, environmental approvals and environmental management.
The Botany Consultant is a project manager and technical expert who is a contributor to the wider Victorian Ecology Group , joining a collaborative team that prides themselves on a strong culture that retains staff for long term success. They play an active role in project work through participation in project teams, project management, fieldwork , and client liaison.

About you
You are an experienced Botanist with 5+ years’ experience , at either the mid-range or Senior level. You are seeking a collaborative, supportive team that can offer exposure to a wide range of interesting projects throughout Victoria, enabling you to grow in your career.
You have full Australian working rights and hold a r elevant tertiary qualification in ecology, botany, environmental science, or environmental management . You are well versed in botanical legislation for Victoria and have a deep knowledge of the relative Victorian government policy .
You can provide clear consulting advice and are able to effectively e ngage and communicate with the wider business to facilitate knowledge sharing.
