Job Description :
To head the retail branch. Spearhead sales ensuring profitability, business development and growth of the retail business of the branch and provide leadership in operations, compliance, logistics and administrative functions
A. Business Development and Profitability of the Branch:
I. Be responsible for profitability of the retail business of the branch, as per targets allocated by the Bank from time to time.
II. Strategize & execute actions for balance sheet growth, retail acquisition & growth in interest & fee income.
III. Area mapping, customer/prospect segmenting
IV. Generate/manage leads; Monitor DSR
V. Cross-sell of retail TPP products with new/existing customers
VI. Achieve individual, branch sales goals via new business referrals & retention of customers.
B. Customer Relationship Management:
i. Promote the sales and service culture
ii. Ensure proper on-boarding of all new customers acquired
iii. Strengthen customer relationship through efficient service and desirable TAT and service standards.
iv. Manage key branch relationships
v. Ensure that all queries/complaints are resolved within agreed TATs.
vi. Minimize customer complaints with regard to customer acquisition
vii. Organize customer meetings to strengthen relationships, cross sell and referrals
C. Operations and Compliance:
i. Quality customer service, best in class TAT
ii. Adhere to standard operating procedures
iii. Ensure compliance and controls, adherence to regulatory and internal policies and guidelines for self and branch team iv. Maintain satisfactory audit ratings statutory/ concurrent / internal
v. OPEX optimization (reduce operation cost)
vi. Ensure proper joint custody of valuable and securities.
vii. Manage optimal cash holding at the branch
viii. Manage NPAs, impairments / credit losses, as applicable
D. Branch Administration:
i. Ensure branch visibility, including signage and access
ii. Ensure upkeep of premises of the branch
iii. Ensure availability of necessary infrastructure in branch
iv. Be the Banks representative in the local geography for any regulatory, legal, compliance and such other matters. Will need to reach back to appropriate teams at controlling office/public authorities to address the issues as applicable.
E. Team Management:
i. Prepare and review activity calendar of team, especially outbound
ii. activities for sales / customer engagements
iii. Conducting regular / periodic performance reviews of the team and take course corrections, to ensure team productivity.
iv. Capability building and manpower management
v. Brief employees on their role and expectations from them
vi. Mentor / Guide new joinees as well as existing team
vii. Provide timely and regular structured feedback to the team
