About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Branch Manager who will be responsible for the effective resourcing and management of the Victorian Branch on a daily basis within our Material Processing Segment.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote and lead a safe workplace
  • Manage the sales, aftermarket and administrative team members
  • Responsibility for the management of the P&L and Sales Forecasting for the Branch
  • Compile annual operational budget in conjunction with Financial Controller
  • Manage branch work in progress (WIP)
  • Facilitate weekly communication meetings
  • Effectively manage maintenance contracts
  • Maintain appropriate working relationships with major suppliers
  • Employee development and succession planning
  • Employee training and performance management
  • Embrace the Terex Business System philosophy and be the advocate for the region
  • Liaise with company management, especially in the area of preparation of forecasts and budgets to meet overall objectives for the company
  • Collaborate with interstate branches to ensure effective development of the Terex MPS business
  • Meet customer expectations
  • Maintain up to date customer database including installed machine details
  • Participate in the preparation of equipment sales tenders
  • Formulate and present product and support sales presentations
  • Market parts and service capability to existing and new customers
  • Maintain appropriate levels of customer coverage
  • Gain pre-qualification of suppliers in conjunction with National Parts Manager
  • Manage and optimise the parts inventory holdings
  • Educate customers of products, service, warrant and technical support
  • Ensure customers have access to parts personnel, field service and other team members as necessary
  • Attend Terex MPS management meetings
  • Perform and other tasks required by the employer that are within the employees skills and abilities pursuant to the position
