Job Description

Responsible for operations and the office environment. Manage the admin team, drive growth and maximise operational efficiencies.
What is the role?
Reporting to the Parramatta Branch Manager, this role will partner with the leadership team to manage branch operations and administration in our Parramatta office, comprised of approximately 25 employees.
You will be responsible for the branch’s operations and drive an efficient and productive office environment. You will also drive growth of insurance business by developing strategies and plans to maximise operational efficiencies.
You will be responsible and have accountability for all operational metrics which include:
+ Debtor management
+ Branch compliance and quality assurance
+ Driving and influencing client service and engagement standards
+ Client retention – understanding the reasons why we lose clients and how branch operations may help and contribute to retention
+ Complete ownership of the expense budget within the branch
+ Manage leave (annual, personal and long service leave) for branch and ensure leave liability is reduced, where possible
+ Operational initiatives to maximise efficiencies
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in an operational leadership role, ideally gained within a complex commercial sales environment. In addition, you will be/have:
+ Able to demonstrate you have contributed to the growth of a business through strong operational governance and management
+ Able to identify risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and processes
+ Resilient, confident and inquisitive, with the ability to engage, extract, collaborate and influence
+ Financially and commercially savvy with proven administration skills
+ Experience within insurance, banking or financial planning will be highly regarded
