Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Brand Manager, reporting to the Director of Communication and Demand Generation, to be based in our Sydney (HQ) Office. In this role, the successful Brand Manager will have the opportunity to develop best-in-class campaigns that align with the overall marketing and communications objectives for Cochlear Asia Pacific (APAC). Qualified candidates will be fluent in their understanding of the strategies and tactics of today’s digital marketing ecosystem, and how to create and sell integrated plans that drive business results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning of DTC (direct to consumer) integrated marketing campaigns and strategies that support business objectives across the APAC region and in-country, as required.
  • Partner with highly innovative specialists within the Marketing Analytics, Social Media and Marketing Automation fields to manage relevant consumer campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-culturally across APAC countries and marketing campaign teams to develop clear processes and programs to deliver highly effective programs.
  • Drive growth by defining and delivering on objectives for all programs and ensuring best practices are appropriately shared across region.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on campaign and digital marketing for the APAC region.

To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Minimum:

  • Graduate qualifications in marketing, business or related degree
  • At least 10 years’ experience in marketing (digital preferred) with proven results in developing comprehensive digital strategy for a broad range of B2B, B2C and DTC marketing and e-commerce campaigns 
  • Demonstrated experience using interactive media to engage customers 
  • Proven ability to leverage customer insights and market trends into marketing programs
  • Demonstrated experience managing SEM/SEO with proven results  
  • Ability to adapt and lead in a dynamic environment
  • Effective written, verbal, communication and presentation skills  
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce dot com (SFDC), Marketing Web, Automation, Social and related platforms 
  • Experience within the pharmaceuticals/life sciences/medical device/healthcare industry, is preferred.
