Description

The job purpose is for tier 3 support of Emerson Automation Solutions Business Applications users globally during the regular North America working day. Working in conjunction with offshore resources also on a US shift to entity and resolve issues raised to the Application Support Group.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for carrying out Production support for the Global Oracle ERP Instance for Emerson Automation Solutions. Requires expert skills in Triage, Investigation, Problem resolution and Communication.

Critical success factors include:

• Provide support for configuration and application of multiple functional modules.

• Identify and test application patches prior to promotion to production.

• Work with Oracle Technical Support on Service Request resolution.

• Provide guidance in data preparation and migration.

Requirements

• BS/BA Degree

• 5+ years’ experience with Oracle ERP and at least 3+ years’ experience with Oracle R12 E-Business Suite in a Global Finance environment.

• Implementation experience and detailed understanding of the following Oracle Applications modules in Release R12: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), i-Expense, Payments, SLA (Sub Ledger Accounting), eBTax, OIC (Oracle Incentive Compensation), others.

• Working knowledge of Oracle configurations/ setups for R12 E-Business Suite: functional module setups, profile options, flex-fields, functional module interfaces
