Business Analyst

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an Analyst to join the Essense team. This position is based in our Perth, Australia office and supports the Product Operations and Fabrications team. The ideal candidate enjoys the challenge of overseeing projects, processes, and data integrity throughout the product lifecycle, while supporting short and long-term business needs and requirements. They will have a strong background as a business analyst, providing expertise and guidance on process improvement and various software products.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and analytical person, with excellent problem solving and communication skills to collaborate with different departments and stakeholders across the organization. This position will drive and implement improvements to the processes and systems of the department, resulting in efficiency gains across the company.

What We Expect:

• Ownership and accountability for the departments business systems, processes, and procedures ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency.
• Identify strengths and improvement opportunities to design and implement business software solutions.
• Optimise cross-functional processes, resulting in return on investment and speed to market.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into integration requirements.
• Work with overseas factories and internal teams on the analysis of processes.
• Collect, analyse and summarise data, information and trends to generate reports.
• Translate and refine reporting requests into actionable objectives, understanding and communicating the financial and operational impact of any changes.
• Deliver detailed analysis, process mapping and documentation of proposed solutions.
• Generate quality control and factory performance reports for the Garment Technician Manager.
• Develop business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making of key stakeholders and senior management.
• Identify project stakeholder requirements and liaise with them to drive process improvement projects.
• Define project requirements, identifying milestones, phases, and tasks.
• Manage department projects and deliver them on time, within the scope and budget.

What We Are Looking For:

• 3 years' experience in an analytical role within supply chain, production, manufacturing or similar departments.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer sciences, technology, engineering, manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. QlikView, Power BI, Cognos, SharePoint), leading data gathering and reporting/BI projects.
• Experience being involved in multiple projects, improvement strategies and stakeholder engagement.
• Qualification in CI/Process methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma black/green belt, Kaizen, 5s) will be valued.
• Advanced, interpersonal skills interacting with multiple stakeholders up to and including leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in building solid and trusted working relationships across the organization.
• A natural problem solver with a strong aptitude to learn in a fast paced, high growth environment.
• Additional technical background and experience with relational databases and data models.
