WorleyParsons’ Group Project Management Office (GPMO) delivers a diverse portfolio of global business improvement and innovation projects.  We are currently seeking to appoint a GPMO Business Analyst initially on a Fixed Term Contract basis to commence on a business operations project within the program portfolio. Reporting to the assigned GPMO Project Manager, your primary responsibility is ensuring process and system requirements are integrated and facilitate management of the end to end process and that transition activities incorporate the process, people and systems requirements. Your deliverables will include:
  • Analysis of functional processes to determine activities that can be improved to enhance customer experience;
  • Developing, designing and documenting future state processes and any exceptions to the standard process;
  • Coordinating development and implementation of technology and systems to support the future state process including identification of requirements (functional and non-functional), providing critical path for systems development and UAT oversight; and
  • Development and delivery of the EUT program through to cutover and support activities required to stabilise and embed new processes into BAU.
To be considered for this position you will ideally be Degree qualified with a track record in business improvement projects. Specific skills, qualifications, experience and attributes we will be looking for:
  • Examples of successfully delivered business improvement or transition projects within a large and complex matrixed organization, preferably a multinational corporate;
  • A rigourous approach to the integration of transformational processes of cross-functional teams in disparate geographical locations;
  • Experience designing future-state processes from Level 1 to Level 4 with supporting documentation including business requirements to support systems implementation;
  • Sound knowledge and experience in identifying project risks (technical, organizational, people, commercial and legal aspects);
  • BABOK / PMP / Prince2 / Agile accreditation;
  • Experience with working in a truly multinational organisation with key stakeholders distributed across multiple time-zones;
  • Ability to establish, build and articulate a sound business case for changes in an established operating model; and
  • Superior stakeholder engagement and management skills are essential.
