Your new role:

A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle will position you well as you play an integral role in one of our multi-disciplinary development teams to define and deliver new features and functionality to STREAMS®. Strong interpersonal communication skills are vital to this position as you will liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, refine and clearly communicate customer needs so the development team can build effective solutions. This role requires excellent analytical skills in order to effectively collaborate with users, technical experts, development teams, and senior leaders.


If eliciting requirements, solving problems and ensuring customer happiness is what makes you tick, then this is the role for you. Ideally, you will be a certified Scrum Master (but it's not a deal breaker) with an in-depth understanding of agile development principles. Furthermore, if you have experience working in software development (preferably within government) you will be viewed favourably.

Qualifications/ Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Solid analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture”
  • Experience with requirements gathering, user stories and working alongside developers, test analysts and solution architects
  • Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, presentations, and training


  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • Knowledge and/or experience using JIRA
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the Scrum framework
