As a Junior Business Developer for our Italian Market, your mission will be to support our Italian team to scale up the Italian market. You will gather insights about customers' registering and ensure we communicate the right things at the right time in order to close deals.
Initially, you will be taking over simple tasks as a way to learn the ins and outs of Qonto; but quickly you will be expected to go beyond and bring your unique contribution.
As a Junior Business Developer Italy at Qonto, you will
• Get responsibility from day 1, so you can see the impact of your work!
• Call all inbound leads and secure their conversion
• Make outbound prospecting campaigns (emails, calls) to spot relevant leads
• Be able to identify and anticipate our main customers' needs and requests with the aim to increase our sales and adapt our value proposition in the long run
• Report directly to Lorenzo and work closely with Mariano (our Country Manager Italy ) to determine the value proposition for every customer (SMEs, freelancers, startups, etc.)
• Share internally all product features customers are requesting and prioritize them

About You 
• Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience in a sales role, ideally within a startup/tech environment
• Organisational skills: You are both a planner and a “doer”. You have self-initiative and you are result driven, knowing how to set priorities and how to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptive and flexible: You are excited by things growing fast and you wish to work in a small team
• Communication skills: You are a strong team player, able to easily interact with different stakeholders like customers, partners, and agencies in a relevant way
• Languages: You are fluent in both English and Italian (you have even ever lived in Italy).
• Education: You have a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Business Economics or equivalent.
• Location: You are living in Milan or are ready to relocate

Our hiring process:
- A 60 min video call with one of our Talent Acquisition Managers, to better understand your career plan and answer any of your questions
- A 60 min video call with your future manager, to create a strong alignment on what they will expect from you and tell you more about their way of operating
- A fully remote exercise to evaluate your abilities and give you a taste of what you could work on at Qonto
- Video calls or onsite interviews with future team members (optional) to help you envision yourself at the company
- A final video call or onsite interview with the manager of your future Department
