[...] you our next Business Development Analyst? Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our well-established team as a Business Development Analyst.
What do you get to do in this position?
Our multiple tiered approach as to how we go to market makes the reporting and analysis of performance extremely complex. Not only are we supporting the efforts & efficiencies of our salespeople in over 100 countries, the data accuracy of our distributors, but also many other global, regional & sub-regional teams.
We currently have 1 individual supporting commercial projects involving demand steering, commercial forecasting, order backlog & commercial projects with some of our largest customers.
This additional resource will allow us to provide the project management, technical & analytic support necessary to optimize our commercial efforts across all regions.
The role is responsible for supporting project objectives.
Works closely with the Project Sponsor and Project Management Team to define project objectives, create a plan for and executing the plan to achieve those objectives.
Has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments in which the project deliverables are created and in which they will be used.
Must be an excellent communicator at all levels within the project environment, be proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities and be able to adapt to a dynamic and potentially geographically disbursed project environment
What are your key responsibilities in the role?
1. Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, resource and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan.
2. Participate in the project management team in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Project Sponsor.
3. Implement and enforce change control over project scope, schedule, resources and budget.
4. Negotiate with functional managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the project team.
5. Participate in the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project team’s scope of responsibility.
6. Continually identify and proactively manage project risks & issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.
7. Monitor the project and report the project status to the management on a regular basis.

This role might be for you if?
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
Proficient in English with exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
Experience with Oracle an advantage
Previous experience in customer support or sales is a plus;
Ability to multi-task (logging queries while speaking with customers);
PC skills (Microsoft, Windows, ERPs);
Basic aptitude for learning technical concepts essential;
Excellent interpersonal, communications, and time management skills;
Ability to work on own initiative, but also as part of a team;
Flexible and have the ability to learn quickly;
Previous CRM experience an advantage;
Proven success in delivering results in a global, dynamic matrix organization through collaborative execution
Problem solving skills required. Experience escalating issues and driving for solutions that meet customer expectations desired. Continuous improvement mindset
Ability to work effectively in all organizational levels, including influencing people who are not direct reports
