New Business Development Director

The Role:         

As a New Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving new business development for Worldpanel Indonesia, ensuring the company wins new business by helping clients make better informed decision with our product and services. Develop network of new potential client thru marketing activities such as webinar, press release of articles that demonstrate our capability. This role reports directly to Sr. Director.

Core Focus:    

Drive revenue growth by expanding client base of Kantar Worldpanel, which may come from a mix of MNC and local companies. Closely liaise with marketing team to roll out initiatives to build visibility and drive inbound order. Working together with client service team to ensure above expectation delivery.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Identifying the core needs of potential clients in order to drive benefits led sale
  • Identify revenue gaps and plans for closing these over the course of the year, ensuring achievement of budget is always top of mind.
  • Lead business pitches, drawing on expert support from outside the team when this is likely to improve the chances of success.
  • Proactively sets meeting with potential clients and new prospects; moving potential clients to a position of Yes!
  • Feed into annual budget setting with realistic assessments of potential client spending.
  • Manage the proposal pipelines which will be fed into the overall business plans and growth strategy
  • Work together with client service and marketing team to develop thought leaderships
  • Identify creative ways to use the information with our product & services to drive sales.
  • Manage ad hoc projects on hot topics - making sure that key areas are addressed, information up to date, and available to key internal stakeholders at all times.
  • Prepare and deliver key topic presentations, demonstrating company credibility and showing value for money from the services invested
  • Build category and industry knowledge from project to project making sure previous learnings are built upon and shared fully

Key Capabilities:

  • More than 8 years of business to business sales experience, with evidence of successful selling activities and eagerness to win.
  • Experience in marketing research is a plus point.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to engage with C-Levels
  • Excellent though process with keen eye for details
  • University degree
