For our sales division of Airbus Secure Land Communications in Berlin, we are looking for a Business Development Manager Critical Communication Applications (m/w/d) DACH & Nordic.

New technologies bring new potential and enable transformation in our key sectors. To drive this transformation towards 5G and mission critical applications, we are now looking for a tech-driven Business Development Manager. With a deep technical and commercial understanding of our market, this new role will enable introduction and sales of our Critical Collaboration Platform and Mission Critical Communication Applications. This includes management of key sales projects, which are performed in close collaboration with our local account teams. End customer segments will be in Public Safety and Transport, Utility and Industry (TUI) within Germany and Nordic countries.

Your Key Tasks: 

  • You will work with our sales account teams across the territory to identify business opportunities.
  • You will also take ownership of planning to execution of sales project to introduce our new solutions to our customers.
  • Furthermore, you will take overall responsibility to ensure that the concepts, solutions and offers are delivered to customers or partner from Airbus SLC.

Your Key Qualifications:

  • You successfully completed your studies or job training in a technical field for example in Communications Engineering or Computer Science.
  • You already gained professional experience in Business to Business (B2B) or Business to Government (B2G) environments.
  • You possess experience of secure communication solutions, in particular the European Public Sector requirements.
  • You have knowledge in New Business Development.
  • You have a deep technical understanding and knowledge in the field of professional mobile communication and information technology.
  • You are also the type of person with the ability to work in a dynamic international environment.
  • You are a great communicator in the English as well as in the German language.
