Chubb Fire & Security, part of the Carrier global group of businesses, is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager. The main goal of this role is to win new business in SME and BlueChip accounts selling the full portfolio of Fire &Security solutions and services.

What will I be doing as a Business Development Manager?
+ To win & develop new regional key account contracts and develop large, regional customers for example local councils and utilities.
+ Meet or exceed sales order revenue targets.
+ Meet or exceed new recurring revenue sales target.
+ Meet or exceed activity and quotation levels as agreed with the line manager.
+ Keep customer account profiles up to date with a clear strategy to develop.
+ Ensure all annual service and maintenance negotiations are completed on time.
+ Show evidence of improvement and development, achieved by following the agreed objectives laid down in the performance reviews
+ Achieve and exceed sales targets: install orders, recurring revenue orders and margin targets, as set by the Sales Manager.
+ Manage personal activity to ensure targets are met and produce accurate sales forecast and reporting on business activity.
+ Generate new business growth by targeting key regional accounts, competitor’s customers and specific market sectors.
+ Proactively manage and develop multi level relationships within allocated existing key accounts to ensure we retain and grow them and maintain high customer satisfaction.
+ Develop account profiles and plans for each key account customer and prospect, to ensure a structured focus to maximise the potential whilst ensuring customer needs are continuously met.
To be successful in this role you will:
+ Have previous business development sales experience in Fire & Electronic Security
+ Full understanding of the services and products offered by the Fire/Security Industry
+ Possess aptitude in a highly technical field, with a capacity to understand technical products/specifications.
+ Experience of dealing with large key accounts.
+ Demonstrate PC literacy; preferably with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and Outlook.
+ A full understanding of the services and products offered by the Fire/Security Industry
+ Must be presentable, articulate and literate, with excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Needs to be target driven and results focused with experience of structured sales techniques and a proven track record in sales within the business to business environment.
+ Possess a willingness to strive for results, whilst working within defined processes and under clear direction.
