Responsibilities

Achieve Revenue & Market profitability for Mining Segment:
1. Preparing and Managing Key Account Plans for various mines and Identify Value Chain for Mining.
2. Fix up year on year target for mining business in India. 
3. Obtain product approvals, vendor approvals at Hindustan Zinc, Vedanta, etc. Also, other mines companies / sites across India. This shall be arrived at focus mines based on advise from RBSM.
4. Introduce MBA & MBC offerings at Mines Sites.
5. Interface between Sales Team, Distributors, Technical Teams with various Mines.
6. Approvals from DGMS (Director General of Mine Safety)
Develop and Implement Mines Product Segment Strategy:
1. Prepare Product Segment Strategy for Hard Rock and Soft Rock Mines with Local and regional support.
2. Implement approved strategy with support from Local Management and regional segment management.
3. Continuously revisit the strategy for improvements.

Market Analysis:
1. Continually review market intelligence and competitor product performance and conduct market research as necessary with an objective maintains MBS Mining products at leadership position.
2. Identify new business areas, new prospects and guide sales team to maximize business.
3. Identify Consultants, Contractors and Applicators involved in mining industry and develop business rapport with them for mutual benefits.
OH&S:
Ensure all products comply with relevant OH&S legislation, customer specifics EHS requirements and MBS Responsible Care.
 

Experience

Min 3-5 years industry experience in Mining Solutions. Work experience at Underground mines shall be essential with exposure to Drilling Rigs, Shotcrete Equipment, Injection Rigs etc.

Education
Min bachelor’s degree in mining / Civil engineering from a reputed institute. Business Management Degree / Diploma will be preferable

Technical & Professional Knowledge

1 Thorough understanding of Mining operations.
2 Exposure and understanding of specialized solutions like ground support technologies, Injections in UG mines and understanding of backfilling operations.
3 Broad knowledge of various types of mines, mining terminology, etc.
4 Excellent presentation & communication skills.
