The role of Business Development Manager ? Data Center Cooling is taking the lead of developing the business of our revolutionary data center cooling technology. It requires a fair amount of technical data center infrastructure and relevant market knowledge to effectively generate leads and convert them to sales.
Duties and responsibilities:
+ Market research on data center cooling specifically, but also data centers in general
+ Identify business opportunities worldwide, with focus on Asia and USA
+ Develop the relevant business plan in alignment with senior management
+ Formulate and implement sales and marketing strategy to achieve business objectives
+ Responsible for customer management to generate new leads, and to maintain professional and good relationship
+ Lead, drive and manage sales process with all stakeholders required to retain existing and win new businesses
+ Analyze customers? requirements in detail and prepare overview for management and engineering teams
+ Validate requirements and details with bid owner and/or customer
+ Simulate and calculate various scenarios
+ Calculate and prepare final customer selling rate and solution submission files covering all service requirements
+ Design and engineer customer solution documents
+ Lead post bid process to identify reason of win/loss and define actions
+ Create and maintain a tender database with frequently asked requirements to improve response times
+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or business related disciplines.
+ Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in data center infrastructure, or even specifically in data center cooling
+ Experience in & knowledge of data center infrastructure, especially data center cooling are required.
+ Strong knowledge and network of Data Center stakeholders (consultants, integrators, large end users).
+ Knowledge on different pricing components, levels and calculation methodologies.
+ Proven working experience in fast-moving, multi-cultural, data center or electronics industry (plus)
