Business Development Manager


Purpose of the role
 Generate sales volume and value by developing and maintaining professional relationships with potential customers and business partners.
 Always network on behalf of the company to build the brand of the centre as Asia Pacific’s leading serviced office provider in the local market.

Accountabilities/ Job Description

Business Development & Marketing
 Perform sales of centre including:
– Generate/ handle initial inquiry
– Tour of centre
– Preparation of quotation
– Follow-up
– Closing of sale and preparation of license agreement
– Collect initial payment (rental deposit)
 Actively network on behalf of company with:
– Multinational and domestic corporations
– Business Professionals (e.g. charted Accountants, Lawyers and Consultants)
– Institutional communities (e.g. chambers of commerce)
– Commercial leasing Agents and Tenant Representatives
 Cold call and update the databases
This is essential and the Business Development team should be pro-active to attract new inquiries to the centre.
This will be a daily activity and a disciplined approach should be adopted at all times.
 Identify local marketing partners for joint programs. (e.g. with hotels, cafes, serviced apartments, chambers etc.)

Client Services / Communication Skills
 Develop and maintain exceptional client relationships to support the business goals.
 Develop and maintain partner relationships to support the business goals.
 Communicate between departments
 Work closely with the Operations team, Accounting team and IT team to ensure customer satisfaction

Key Performance Indicators/Job Requirements

 At least 5 years of work experience or 3 years of successful sales experience
 Fluency in both local language and English is a must
 Ability to develop and identify new business opportunities and sales channels
 Ability to negotiate with decision-makers and handle client correspondences and professionally and timely
 Great interpersonal, communications and networking skills
 Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment and initiative to work independently with minimal supervision 


 Demonstrate initiatives and attention to details
 Objections handling and problem solving
 Communication and negotiation skills
 Target driven and result oriented
