We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager / Business Development Manager to manage and drive sales within a portfolio of selected customers including Dealers, Wholesale and Builder accounts.

About the Role...

Your aim will be to grow sales and market share by developing creative business plans in line with the corporate sales strategy. You will nurture and strengthen key relationships within our existing network of customers to ensure profitable growth and the development of new business opportunities through strategic business planning. This position is based in Melbourne reporting to the State Manager Victorian Region and presents an amazing opportunity for an experienced professional in the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Monitor performance of existing dealers against set targets and budgets
  • Identify new business initiatives and develop sales strategies
  • Identify and investigate product development and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare call programs for various target customers
  • Ensure promotion plans are in place to maximise growth
  • Support Seeley International at Trade Shows, Exhibitions and product launches
  • Identify cost effective opportunities for advertising & promotion in the market place
  • Produce accurate monthly reports
  • Collect dealer feedback and conduct market research

What you’ll need to join our team…

  • The ideal candidate will have experience gained in the HVAC industry.
  • Exposure to the residential building & construction industry is a bonus!
  • Your passion for managing large diverse accounts and demonstrated experience in developing long-term customer relationships will be key to your success.
  • Ideally posses a good level of understanding in refrigerated, evaporative cooling and gas heating solutions and can understand and impart technical information.
  • An impressive track record of planning and negotiating with an ability to develop business plans to support growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, high numerical and analytical ability and confident presentations skills.
  • Good grasp of IT including Microsoft Office Suite are essential for this role.
  • A valid driver’s license.
