The Team

The Demand Generation team consists of Demand Generation specialists with this role reporting directly to the Demand Generation Leader Central Europe. Demand Generation is one of the company’s key opportunity pipeline generators and as such a high level of collaboration is required between Demand Generation and Sales to ensure the optimal level of growth and retention of sales revenue is achieved


Role Objective

The Business Development Representative is responsible for qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails and presenting our company and software solutions to potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Reaching out to potential clients through calls and emails
  • Maintain active engagement with leads through follow-up communications
  • Closely collaborate with the Sales and Demand Generation to acquire actionable conversion and revenue insights
  • Present data to help optimizing campaigning and acquisition efforts
  • Achieve quarterly quotas of sourced-qualified opportunities and new revenue
  • Partner with members of the sales team to help fill their pipeline while developing key sales skills
  • Complete pipeline, forecasting, and activity reporting in Salesforce
  • Stay up-to-date with the competitive environment and market trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing (or related field)
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Proven ability to take initiative
  • High resilience
  • Proven track record of exceeding assigned targets
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in German
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Bonus points if you have the following

  • 1-3 years business development experience in B2B software.
  • Experience with CRMs, i.e., Salesforce and other sales & marketing tools
  • Experience using technology/multiple sources of intelligence for research and to scale your sales activity (e.g. LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Discover.org)
  • Understanding of LinkedIn and other social media platforms and their role in the sales cycle

This role can be based in our Leipzig office or remote in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
