The Team

Enghouse Interactive’s Demand Generation team for the APAC region is based in offices located Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.  The Demand Generation team consists of Demand Generation and Content Marketing specialists with this role reporting directly to the APAC Demand Generation Leader. Demand Generation is one of the company’s key opportunity pipeline generators and as such a high level of collaboration is required between Demand Generation and Sales to ensure the optimal level of growth and retention of sales revenue is achieved

Purpose of Position

The Business Development Representative is responsible for qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails and presenting our company and software solutions to potential clients.


  • Reaching out to potential clients through calls and emails
  • Respond to inbound inquiries about Enghouse Interactive’s technology solutions
  • Partner with members of the sales team to help fill their pipeline while developing key sales skills
  • Maintain active engagement with leads through follow-up communications
  • Achieve quarterly quotas of sourced-qualified opportunities and new revenue
  • Collaborate with Demand Gen teams to grow our brand and generate demand
  • Complete pipeline, forecasting, and activity reporting in Salesforce
  • Stay up-to-date with the competitive environment and market trends
  • Any other activities as directed by Demand Generation Leader


Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing (or related field)
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Proven ability to take initiative
  • High resilience
  • Proven track record of exceeding assigned targets
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Bonus points if you have the following:

  • 1-3 years business development experience in B2B software.
  • Experience with CRMs, i.e., Salesforce and other sales & marketing tools
  • Experience using technology/multiple sources of intelligence for research and to scale your sales activity (e.g. LinkedIn, ZoomInfo,
  • Understanding of LinkedIn and other social media platforms and their role in the sales cycle
