Your Career
Due to our massive expansion, Palo Alto Networks (Next Generation Enterprise Security Solutions Leader) is looking for a veteran sales leader for our for our North & East regions in India. This role will be based in New Delhi.
As a member of the Palo Alto Networks sales leadership team, you will be responsible for building and driving the North & East India business & to exceed company objectives by driving growth in the region. You will be responsible for leading the high performing Enterprise & Commercial sales team on a day to day basis including; Account and Opportunity Planning, Pipeline Development, Demand Gen review, Channel Engagement, Talent Recruitment and Development, and overall performance management of the sales team.
In this role, you will lead the company’s strategy and execution for North & East India market. By leveraging company supporting resources across marketing, channel partners, inside sales, and product leadership, you will execute a strategy that drives the company’s growth into the region's top Enterprise & Commercial customers.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience selling and managing high performance sales teams in network infrastructure based security appliances including but not limited to: Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies and Caches, Cloud Security, Infrastructure, Software/Applications etc.
The qualified candidate must possess a deep understanding of how to build a region in a fast-growing dynamic environment, leveraging the channel community and creating a culture within the region that supports the objectives of the Company.
Your Impact
+ Responsible for Regional P&L for North & East India
+ Responsible for building and developing a team of high performing quota carrying sales professionals
+ Hire and expand the region to scale with the company growth and objectives
+ Motivate and manage team expectations and goals, guiding account planning, proposal development, etc.
+ Build a network of customer executive relationships and execute customer negotiations
+ Collaborate with key channel partners and ensuring and that they become proficient in soliciting the Palo Alto Networks solution
+ Participate in quarterly review sessions with the key partners in the region
+ Have a direct involvement and influence in top opportunities, focusing sales efforts on large key accounts with the sales team
+ Required to stay knowledgeable and up-to-date on the product roadmap, industry changes, and competitive landscapes
+ Attend weekly regional forecast and management calls to provide Sales perspective
Your Experience
+ 20+ years of Sales experience with a proven track record of over achievement in a leadership role.
+ Has handled a business size of 30-40 Mn at least with a team of more than 7-10 ICs
+ Has handled varied ENT business verticals like - BFSI/ ITS/ TELCO/ Mfg. (Oil & Gas/ Automotive/ Pharma)/ Govt. and Defense/ PSU (Public Sector Units) in India & SAARC region.
+ Has strong channel relationships with large SIs and large Tier2 partners in Metro cities like Mumbai/ Delhi/ Chennai/ Bangalore
+ Has existing CXO level relationships in Large ENT Accounts with decent influence with the Big 4 consulting firms
+ Has led a team of high performers and has the ability to attract "A" players from the industry
+ Has the leadership ingredients to drive the business in the region.
+ Ability to provide 2 strong CIO level (customer-facing) and CXO level (partner-facing) references from the market
