Multiple Vendor, commercial and business development ownership through working directly with vendors and customers on all aspects of business growth activity and by collaborating with all relevant business functions to deliver best in class systems and processes
Execute the Enterprise Infrastructure Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed strategy to grow profitable market share
Manage all the set piece events (QBR, Annual Reviews, EVPS, Global Vendor Summits and Conferences ) providing appropriate pre-briefs to our senior executives.
Lead the vendor pricing and profit strategy through collaboration with Profit and Business Optimization teams to review price elasticity, drive profitability improvements and handle exception management
Drive sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification and onboarding and other business development initiatives in order to optimize results.
Support development of direct reports and/or development of divisional assistant category managers (ACM’s) or business development execs (BDE’s)
Ownership for full product and vendor life-cycle management, including system accuracy, product adoption & creation and contract management
Hold commercial & sales relationship with vendor & customer key stakeholders
Identification of commercial & operational process improvements
Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools to ensure best in class business continuity
Ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution
Knowledge Skills and Experience
7-10 years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business management level, ideally from a product marketing background
Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling
Proven experience in strategy & business development : building and fostering vendor relationships, participate on vendor brand / strategic events, opportunity identification and assessment (e.g. plays or solutions, marketing)
Strategic planning and business case development
Experience of working within a matrix structure, in an international environment
Experience of SAP R3 and business warehouse
Strong Microsoft office skills
Experience in hybrid multi-cloud area would be preferred.
Fluent Level of English, other European Language is an advantage
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
