Role objective:

As a Distribution Partner Business Manager DPBM you are accountable for the successful implementation of distribution specific go to market strategies, frameworks, processes, and programs - VMware Distributors in Germany. The role also requires experience working with operations, SaaS / Cloud Market Places, sales, in addition to a deep understanding of partner.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Build working business plans covering sales training, technical enablement, lead generation and marketing activities, maintaining distributor competency accreditation
  • Drive incremental revenue through implementing VMware´s Go-to-market framework including all programs
  • Establish and grow VMware practices expertise within distribution managed partners as well as with large channel partners
  • Facilitate account planning and teaming sessions
  • Lead regular business performance reviews
  • Present to and educate the key influencers at the Distributor to ensure they are including VMware in their recommended solutions/proposals to partners.
  • Create direct partnerships with key Distributor management team and map to VMware management
  • Map Distributor field organization to VMware field organization, including technical resources where appropriate

Required Skills:

  • Channel expertise with distribution, partner, software and hardware and / or 3PL
  • Outcome driven, able to collaborate, drive consensus
  • Be a master in cross-functional collaboration by developing deep relationships with key partners across the business unit - VMware and at the partners
  • Proven experience in enterprise software sales with a consistent record of overachieving sales goals
  • Experience of working in a channel environment
  • Good presentation skills
