Business and Operations Analyst

Blueface is looking to hire an experienced Business and Operations Analyst and as a member of the Finance team, reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for a wide range of reporting across both the finance and operational organisation. 

The Role

  • You will work across the business to provide overall insights that will allow the internal teams to determine their organisational strategies.
  • Provide support to business owners and project managers to help drive business initiatives.
  • Develop daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the operations teams while highlighting key insights and trends.
  • You will develop customer insights for our Support and Onboarding teams working in close partnership with the team leads to develop data insights which impact the day to day running of the teams.
  • Understand the organisations operational efficiency and identify opportunities.
  • You will work closely with the CFO and will be developing and reporting information packs for the CFO and the wider leadership team.
  • Assist in the analysis of business decisions from a pricing and commercial perspective.
  • You will be a data storyteller, delivering practical insights to management while articulating findings clearly and concisely using presentations and discussion documents.
  • Document and review internal processes to ensure that the processes are sufficiently robust.
  • Assist the CFO in the preparation of materials for the group planning.
  • Support the broader Blueface team and assist with ad-hoc business duties when required

Skills & Competencies

  • Experience with Sage Intacct or an equivalent accounting package
  • Experience with Zendesk or an equivalent ticketing package
  • Experience with Tableau or an equivalent data reporting package
  • A good financial understanding and background in finance or accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, advanced knowledge of Excel in particular
  • Strong mathematical skills 
  • Strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong logical reasoning and work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • You love data, curious to explore and unveil insights to create a story to impact business decisions
  • Able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Data analytics and business analyst skills are desirable
