Business Operations Manager – Strategic Initiatives PMO

The Business Operations Manager works collaboratively with the Global Business Operations Strategic Enablement lead for Strategy & Consulting to help drive priority strategic initiatives.

Provide central oversight, governance, support and tracking for the execution of different initiatives and operations that meet the S&C Business Operations objectives. The first focus (100% dedicated) will be acting as the PMO for the Global S&C Reinvention Transformation within Momentum including:

  • PMO: Facilitate and lead meetings with different workstreams from the large project, to align workstream framework, milestones, due dates, and status report. Bring to the calls changes on the tool or tracking processes. Connect dots between milestones or outcomes between different workstreams and identify how those inputs might impact on future actions. Evaluate issues significance and impact and ensure their resolution
  • Tracking: Manage consolidated project status reporting and reviewing status to identify and escalate issues
  • Risk Management: Identify risks on a timely manner and ensure proper escalation to stakeholder management, while proposing mitigation actions
  • Stakeholders Management: Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and risks to senior stakeholders. Facilitate decision-making by providing relevant information.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards. Implement processes for testing, validation, and continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance PMO processes. Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the AI project teams.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects for more than 5 years
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear communication for stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to accommodate adhoc meetings with different time zones when required
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining program management tools and templates.
  • Business knowledge & context – Understand Accenture org structure and the business
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organization time management and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proven team management skills and proactive mindset
  • Strong judgment, ability to prioritize, make decisions, and the ability to anticipate risks ahead of time
  • Ability to function as a Team Player and maintain a good working relationship, yet think and act independently with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and willingness to flex based on business priorities
  • Nice to have: Agile Methodologies and Accenture prescribed FORM methodologies
