Position Summary
Peninsula Health currently has opportunities for Business Partner's to join our Finance Department on a full time basis.
This position will provide analytical and decision support for the cluster with the overall aim to drive value for the health service.
You will work with the Director-Financial Services to drive improvements in strategic decision making across the cluster.
You will work with staff within the clinical cluster and across other parts of the organisation to understand financial drivers, identify opportunities for efficiencies and to assist with the development of business cases. You will review financial and activity data with an aim to develop strategies and solutions to address operational issues and will provide financial support for the cluster.
You will use your knowledge of analytical techniques and available data in the public health sector to drive improved understanding of financial performance.
In addition, you will develop solid relationships with senior operational staff to help ensure finance is considered a true business partner of the operational units with Peninsula Health
Essential Criteria
• A business or accounting degree (or equivalent experience)
• A member of the Institute of Chartered accountants, CPA Australia or International equivalent.
• Demonstrated initiative and the ability to develop innovative solutions to problems
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in successful customer service role with senior management and executive staff.
• Ability to think through challenging problems and determine potential solutions.
Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and communications skills (both written and verbal)
