The Business Planning Analyst will be assisting the development and lead the adoption of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) analytical tools, reports and dashboards into Operation Unit (OU) management routines; leverage tools and dashboards for course correction guidance and opportunity identification Stewardship of all OU trade spend optimization and revenue improvement initiatives within account base. This individual will all be accountable for ensuring guardrails and best practices are adopted and integrated into OU account plans.

  • Assist in the build / validation / cascade of Plan OU allocations (rate expectations, SOG assumptions, key one-time impact items)
  • Collaborate with OU sales to build, verify and modify annual customer retail price package plans and assist in vetting potential exception requests
  • Partner with OU Finance to measure performance against business plan, including sources of growth results, price/package variations, brand/category trends and mix shifts
  • Measure OU customer event effectiveness and evaluation of local market tests / pilots
  • Review and manage coherency between Local chains and key pricing benchmarks including Club Coke pricing, trade letter pricing and National chain pricing.
  • Support and lead efforts to establish and maintain the highest level of accuracy for relevant master data and own the review/approval cycle for changes to pricing related data
  • Assist to drive the exporting and importing of identified best practices across OUs
  • Approve program summary for PAT submission for everyday pricing
  • Approve any promos being run with Local chains, based on guardrails and chain profitability
  • Manage Regional customer spend compliance / audit routines
  • Serve as a team member for cross functional projects providing analytical support on key strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with OU sales to optimize and verify contractual customer programs using RFA model
  • Post analysis on contractual deals

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance .
  • 3+ years of financial/sales analysis work experience required .
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) required (macros preferred).
  • Previous sales or financial reporting preferred.
  • Strong computer and database application skills.
