Job Summary:

Support the Lubrizol P2P process as a Readiness Planning and Performance Analysis process to improve procurement by clearly articulating performance gaps, identifying barriers to execution, and developing potential solutions to achieve an integrated and enterprise approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through SAP module(s) or other related applications.
  • Provide consultation to business users (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, etc.), including business processes, communication guidance, system solution.
  • Develop standard business process design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP ECC and S/4 HANA solutions along with any bolt-on for all planning and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure the quality of software changes and additions. Update and maintain documentation regarding the application, its interfaces and data definitions.
  • Provide a collaborative and good communication/relationship environment with all functional and business teams in the organization.
  • Resolve key integration points between and across processes with other Process Teams to ensure they are properly addressed.
  • Member of the Procurement Support Services Team accountable for supporting daily operations within the SAP and associated applications environment.

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Competencies):

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of experience.
  • 7 years of information systems analysis and application development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting SAP MM function.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and work with a distributed team.
  • Proven experience in overseeing configuration, development, upgrades and implementation of software packages.
  • Integration experience with other SAP modules such as PP, SD and FI/CO.
  • High degree of customer focus.
  • Able to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
  • Superior project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload prioritization for self and Team to delivery high quality work products within cost and time constraints.
  • Superior critical thinking skills with the ability to develop completely new problem-solving approaches to formulate innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and work with a distributed team.
  • International mindset – must be able to deal with diverse, international team.
  • Willingness to travel on a project basis – up to 30% per year. Including potential extended period of time away from home.
  • 2+ years experience of Ariba modules - Sourcing, P2O, Contracts, Catalog Punchout, Ariba Network, SLP.
  • 2+ years of Open Text Invoicing knowledge.
  • Ability to create Functional / Technical Specifications documents.
  • Ability to develop and execute detailed testing scripts / plans.
  • Understanding of the SAP tools - CHaRM, Focus Build, Active Control ( Transport Expresso).
  • Ability to perform system monitoring.

Considered a plus:

  • SAP S/4 HANA functional and technical experience.
  • At least 1 end-to-end SAP implementation project.
  • Knowledge and experience with Business Objects, and/or SharePoint.
