Business Process Analyst

The Red Hat Global Process Excellence team, part of the larger Finance team, is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join us in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you will provide support for business process improvement across the procurement department. You will provide methods, tools, and analysis for process management and improvement. You’ll need to contribute to the creation and documentation of the future state of business processes, as well as the assessment and validation of current processes and gaps. You will model, design, and align processes with an organization's strategic goals, and design and implement process architectures. As a Business Process Analyst, you will also establish process measurement systems that align with organizational goals, while supporting methods of facilitation and implementation of standardized processes across global teams.

• Provide analysis and develop business process diagrams and models to support process design or redesign initiatives
• Serve as a subject matter expert or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership, and compliance with procedures
• Conduct interviews and facilitate meetings with business owners to derive and validate business process models and gaps
• Document the current and future state of business processes, using business process modeling notation (BPMN), to gain required insight
• Analyze and document dependencies between new and existing processes
• Identify key business readiness considerations, activities, and deliverables in order to adopt changes resulting from business process or systems improvements
• Monitor business readiness and adoption through process performance audits and reports
• Partner with other teams at Red Hat to collaborate on issues and address improvement opportunities

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with multiple functional areas including procurement, finance, accounting, and operations
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification; Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in consultative business process design, change, and implementation
• Business acumen; familiarity with sourcing and procurement processes and technology
• Curious and passionate about discovering how processes work
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to quickly learn and apply skills needed for business process diagram development and BPMN
• Good written and verbal communication skills; good presentation skills
• Comfortable working in a global and multicultural work environment
• Working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Signavio
