This role will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Education Compliance. You will be working on a multi-faceted compliance project, elements of which include the development of processes and policies, implementation of risk mitigation strategies and controls, as well as assisting in data collection and preparation. You will be required to work alongside business subject matter experts, HR, ICT, Risk and Compliance and other project related stakeholders.

Your responsibility will include:

  • Project Documentation: Developing clear, concise and organised project documentation. This includes reviewing, revising, developing and implementing requisite business processes and standard operating procedures to include appropriate controls on risk per scope of the project.
  • Risk and Controls Management: Engage with relevant stakeholders to prioritise identified risks and develop, implement and embed appropriate preventative and detective controls for the business.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identifying and proactively engage with stakeholder groups to understand, challenge and document complex business processes.
  • Embedding change: Assist the project team with embedding change in the business by developing appropriate communications and training materials as required
  • Project Support: Provide support to the project team, including developing presentation materials, communications, data analysis, peer reviewing documentation and undertaking ad hoc tasks on an as required basis

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years in a Business Analyst role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (or relevant experience)
  • Working on business process improvement initiatives including mapping 'as is' and 'to be' process maps using Promap or other process documentation tools (e.g.) Visio
  • Eliciting high-level requirements from business stakeholders and documenting in best practice templates to enable business analysis
  • Working independently with geographically dispersed stakeholders, in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Working on collaboratively as part of a project team within Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Risk and Compliance and/or Education experience are a strong plus
