The Global Procurement Business & Systems Manager is responsible for a wide range of duties that plan, enable, and support the successful performance of the collective Global Procurement team. This position is responsible for performing business process & system administration duties, including system-related enhancements, for Global Procurement’s business administered system platforms.

The Global Procurement Business Process & Systems Manager will participate in all technology implementations to ensure that business processes are optimized and systems are crafted in a scalable manner that is consistent with Global Procurement’s technology strategy. This role will also oversee system-related enhancement projects as a result of process improvement opportunities.

It is expected that the Global Procurement Business Process & Systems Manager will lead through influence and drive the right system design that aligns with best practices. This position will work closely with program managers, process SME’s, IT partners and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Tasks

New Technology Implementations

  • Participate in design sessions for business administered technology platforms
  • Design streamlined and scalable business processes
  • Manage technology configurations as needed
  • Manage documentation of technical procedures/configurations
  • Oversee and/or perform testing in conjunction with SME’s as needed

System Enhancements

  • Review and understand system enhancement requests
  • Prioritize system enhancement requests

Other Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities, build business cases, and implement recommendations
  • Lead people and cross-function teams to build and implement Global Procurement develop business process & technology capabilities
  • Engage and oversee the work of external vendors as needed

Education

  • BA or BS degree
  • MS degree preferred
  • Six Sigma certification preferred

Experience

  • Proven experience implementing SaaS platform(s)
  • SAP MM and/or Ariba experience required
  • Expert knowledge of Procurement processes
  • Able to work effectively in a cross-functional and dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and data skills
  • Ability to lead change
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and adjust to situations that involve conflicting goals

Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Management/Leadership
  • Supply Chain / Procurement
  • Process, project and change management

Work Place

  • Early morning hours required at times to facilitate work cross-sites (different/US time zones)
  • Travel required, as needed
