About the Role: To deliver management and business support and administrative services to Business Managers, Branch Managers and their teams. * Prepare financial reports, monthly estimates, monitor Branch budgets and initiate corrective actions as required. * Business and Financial Management Support * Contribute to Directorate business improvement projects. * Undertake timely payment of accounts in accordance with Main Roads policies and procedures. * Monitor all reporting, accounting and administrative systems for compliance with Main Roads policies * Provide executive support for all requirements associated with external and internal committees and stakeholders * Meeting minutes, travel and accommodation bookings, credit card payments and reconciliations Required skills: * Experience in senior Business Support/administrative function (at least 4years) * Financial forecasting and budgeting skills, knowledge and experience including financial analysis (at least 2 years) * Advance excel skills (finance related), experience in macros preferred * Attention to detail * Multitasking, working to deadlines and self-initiating work * Problem solving and customer service * Communication skills - verbal and written (including preparing reporting and form of correspondence) The successful candidate will have a good work ethic, pleasant personality and be well presented.
