About the Roles
Southern Cross Care are searching for committed, motivated and friendly caring staff who are looking to continue or commence their careers as residential aged care workers. We are currently hiring for multiple Permanent, Part Time roles which will work across all 7 of our facilities within the South Metro Region of Perth. We have roles suiting AM, PM and/or Night availability. The more availability you can give us, the more permanent hours we are able to give you in return! We also have several permanent roles available across our facilities.
We are especially keen on talking to candidates who would be keenest to work at our facilities in Forrestfield, Success or Cooloongup.
Special consideration will be given to Carers who are also happy to work for 6-8 week periods at our regional facilities in Broome or Kalgoorlie.
Our successful residential carers possess:
A Cert III in Aged Care or an equivalent qualification
Previous experience as a residential aged carer is highly desirable
Caring, nurturing values, as well as respect for our residents
Strong English and communication skills, written and verbal
The drive to go above and beyond for our residents
