Chisholm Online is currently taking Expressions of Interest for Course Advisors due to the increased demand for online training that both our students and industry partners now require. This is a virtual role that can be performed from any location in Australia.

We offer more than 400 courses, from VCE/VCAL/VETiS, through to nationally accredited qualifications such as certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, degrees, graduate certificates, graduate diplomas and short courses.

The primary goal of the Course Advisor is to provide course information, high level enrolment processing and inbound & outbound sales. This role contributes to the delivery of quality services whilst providing a diverse range of information to current and prospective learners and the general public. As first point of contact, the position actively promotes the business of Chisholm Online and maintains an up to date awareness of courses.

The position supports the Student Engagement team to exceed customer service expectations and deliver outstanding service, achieve sales conversion targets and provide enrolment enquiry assistant and general academic processing as well as exceptional pastoral care to existing students.

Your key accountabilities will be to:

  • Provide highly client focussed, professional telephone customer service
  • To process customer enrolments sending out confirmation and relevant course information within agreed service standards
  • Achieve quality contact conversion and enrolment targets by matching our courses to the needs of the customer
  • Convert contacts and prospects to enrolments in line with agreed KPI’s and quality assurance standards / practices.
  • Support the day to day operational front line and administrative delivery of the functions of learner enrolments, payment plan contracts, eligibility and provision of VET Student Loans, provision of ID cards, course information and receipting
  • Provide advice on training and education courses, entry pathways and enrolment procedures and VET Students Loans


You will bring the following skills and experience with you:

  • Outstanding communication skills and customer service
  • Experience with inbound and outbound customer service over the telephone
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and deliver KPIs and sales conversion targets
  • Experience using computerised customer relationship systems for the input and retrieval of data
  • Experience working within the education sector
  • Moodle experience

In addition to this you will enjoy working collaboratively within a diverse team, be highly motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
