We are looking for a Channel Account Manager - Central Europe to join our Cloud & Edge Business Unit.


  • The sale of RIBBON products and services to the enterprise market through existing and new DACH and central European channel partners, including sell-through channels such as service providers, global system integrators, and value-added resellers to achieve bookings and revenue objectives
  • Develop & implement a strategic channel sale plan to achieve/overachieve the agreed goals specifically for the DACH region but also to extend as appropriate to cover Central Europe
  • Directs and is fully responsible for the channel sales forecasting activities for the region
  • Lead the sales development and awareness campaign across the DACH region by successfully positioning RIBBON enterprise solutions, services, and maintenance
  • Presentation of the RIBBON enterprise solutions and differentiators to partners/customers/prospects and assists them in defining the optimum solution for their network requirements in order to establish a winning position for RIBBON
  • Work with the regional pre-sales engineers and direct touch team to deliver technical and commercial proposals to channel partners
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and network within the industry to positively position RIBBON. Provide input to regional marketing plans
  • Weekly reporting on channel engagement, opportunities & competitive activities
  • Minimum 30% Travel required (Post Covid)


  • Bachelor or master’s degree in business or Engineering
  • Sales track record in working with channel partners
  • Experience in selling Unified Communications solutions from companies such as AudioCodes, Avaya, Mitel, Cisco and etc.
  • 5+ years’ experience and track record of success in a quota-carrying sales role with an IP networking equipment company or telecommunications service provider
  • 5+ years in successfully selling within a channel account management position
  • Fundamental understanding and current knowledge and experience in voice, UC, and Cloud
  • Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
  • Must be results-orientated, highly driven, and able to work both independently and within a team environment 
  • This sales role will require a high level of activity, both remotely and face to face, with the channel partners. Subsequently, the candidate should be self-motivated and have a strong desire to build a strong regional business
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and Salesforce
