Job Description

We are currently seeking a Chef De Partie to join our Kitchen team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will assist in daily food preparation, taking responsibility for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner service for our conferencing and events guests. It is a great opportunity to learn under an Experienced team and fast track your career.

About You: To be successful in this role it is ESSENTIAL that you have:
  • Certificate III in Commercial cookery (minimum)
  • 2 years post apprenticeship
  • Experience in a similar role, A La Carte hotel restaurant or functions kitchen will be highly regarded
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high quality food
  • An understanding of food safety and HACCP principle
  • Availability to participate in a 7 day working roster of days, nights, weekends 
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Initiative and be a team player
  • Good personal presentation
  • Self-motivation, can do attitude
