We are seeking an experienced global marketing leader for the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead Dailymotion’s marketing team as part of Dailymotion’s global growth strategy for the coming years.
As the Chief Marketing Officer, your objective will be to design and execute the marketing activities to contribute to Dailymotion’s market awareness and ultimately the growth of Dailymotion through all Dailymotion activities including B2B (media publisher and advertisers) and B2C (Retail users).
You will be working among the operating team with two key strategic peers: The Chief Product Officer and the Chief Technology Officer.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Define the marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategic and growth objectives on:
- The B2B media publisher’s ecosystem of Dailymotion
- The B2B advertisement video ecosystem (in collaboration with the Trade Marketing team) of Dailymotion
- The B2C ecosystem of Dailymotion
- Implement accordingly a feasible and in budget marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
- Define a research strategy and execute to capture the trends of the market that has a direct impact on Dailymotion’s market penetration and lead generation
- Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to communication, distribution etc. that meets market demands
- Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique ‘voice’ and ‘values’
- Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, social, press etc.) and coordinate with the Trade Marketing team to ensure they project the company’s unique ‘voice’ and ‘values’
- Design and coordinate internal and external communication processes including assets definition and brand consistency
- Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals
