Working as a Level 3 Citrix Engineer within our infrastructure Support Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and availability of the Citrix infrastructure for blueAPACHE managed customers. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage blueAPACHE customers' Citrix infrastructure - monitoring, reporting, and maintaining Citrix infrastructure as required.
  • Provide 3rd level technical Citrix support and managing to resolution issues escalated from the Service Desk, Citrix technicians or direct from the customer.
  • Conduct monthly or quarterly patching & health checks on Citrix and other Citrix related devices across our customer base.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase (KB) articles.
  • Perform onsite maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
  • Provide recommendations to blueAPACHE customers and sales staff for improvements in Citrix infrastructure configuration and deliverables.
  • Attend customer meetings when required.
  • Contribute to monthly reports and PIRs to customers where required.
  • Install and configure Citrix technologies and complete minor projects as required.

Note you must be available to provide after hours on-call assistance and/or escalation on a rotating basis.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced Citrix Engineer, having supported a large Citrix farm within either a corporate or Managed Services environment. Skills and experience include:

  • Implementing and managing Citrix farms in dedicated On-Premise environments based on
    • Virtual Apps and Desktop,
    • Desktop, XenApp/XenDesktop 1912 LTSR, 7.15LTSR /7.6/7.5/6.5
    • Machine Creation Services (MCS),
    • Provisioning Services (PVS).
  • Microsoft RDS/Terminal Services
  • Citrix ADC, Netscalers, Citrix Gateway
  • Citrix Workspace Environment Management
  • Citrix SD-WAN
  • Profile Management Solutions e,g: FSlogix
