The Role:

A great opportunity has become available with atWork Australia for a DES Claims Consultant based in our Bankstown Office.

As the DES Claims Consultant you will ensure that all revenues due and claims processed are timely, evidenced, accurate, and in accordance with contractual guidelines and requirements.

Reporting to the Manager, you will operate as an expert in claims management to comply with Department of Social Services requirements and to support and assist atWork staff in ensuring KPI's and Budgets are met

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with appropriate atWork Team members, including Employer Engagement Consultants, Job Coaches and Post Placement Consultants in relation to claims;
  • Ensure all claims are processed in the system accurately; and
  • Ensure full compliance with Employment Services Contract by passing internal and external audits, as well as compliance with internal policies and procedures.

This opportunity is a Full Time Max Term Contract until June 30, 2023.

  • Ability to successfully manage a caseload;
  • Proven experience working with targets and KPI's;
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills; and  
  • Ability to problem solve and implement new strategies.
