The EMEA Client Implementations function is responsible for ensuring effective onboarding of new and incremental Custody & Funds business for Securities Services Operations.  Within this team, the Fund Accounting Implementation Manager is assigned a wide variety of programme and project activity.


Responsibilities

Reporting to the Dublin/Regional Client Onboarding Senior Manager:

  • Liaise with client and internal partners (Sales/Client Executive/Product/Operations) to understand the client's service needs in order to match them to Citi’s delivery capabilities
  • Coordinate a wide range of activity and event-based projects in the EMEA region such as migrations, fund manager set-ups and changes, fund & share class launches and closures, in-specie transfers
  • Agree implementation timetables/runbooks and ensure all project stakeholders are kept informed of progress on a timely basis
  • Ensure operational readiness for smooth cutover to ‘BAU’ operating model
  • Apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal conduct and key business practices and decisions
  • Deal with risks and issues in a transparent manner by ensuring they are promptly identified, escalated and reported
  • Maintain a pristine risk and controls environment through adherence to, and enhancement of, established governance procedures

Experience and Skills

  • 10 years’ experience in Custody or Funds business
  • Good working knowledge of project management methodology
  • Extensive practical experience delivering client change
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal/external stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including an aptitude for influencing and negotiating
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior management
  • Solid analytical and documentation skills
  • Highly motivated and self-reliant, with demonstrable initiative and flexibility
  • High levels of diligence and resilience
  • Willingness to occasionally work extended/irregular hours 
  • Proficient in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or related discipline
