Contract Type: Fixed term, full time

Contract period: 3-6 months, with possibility of extension.

About the Role:

Responsible for managing, coordinating and delivering competent nursing care for patients, using leadership and advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the Maternity unit. Acts as a clinical resource and provides clinical supervision and support for Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives, Enrolled Nurses, Student Midwives, Student Nurses and Nursing Assistants. Provides support, direction, orientation and education to staff and patients and assists the Clinical Nurse Manager in all areas of unit management.
