CADS provides a range of Alcohol and Drug services for the greater Auckland region with a population of approx. 1.5 Million people and is operated by Waitemata District Health Board.
This opening offers an exciting opportunity for those interested in working with individuals and friends and families assisting them in resolving alcohol and drug related problems. This clinical position is based in our CADS Abstinence Programme at Pitman House, Point Chevalier. 
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications, excellent communication, assessment and referral skills, experience and expertise in working with clients and a clear problem solving approach. Therapeutic work in this unit specialises in group based and abstinence focussed interventions.  Knowledge of 12 step group facilitation would be an advantage.  Relevant experience and training in the alcohol and drug field is essential.
