About The Role:

The Cloud Operations Engineer will act as a highly-visiible solution engineer contributing to the improvement of the service and the service delivery processes in support of key customers’ change requests during the full lifecycle of the contracts.  The support work is varied ranging from consulting with customers on changes in their cloud implementation, owning and developing those change, guiding and supporting other team members, and setting up processes, procedures and tooling to be able to support customer implementations.  A key objective is to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality technical consultancy both in terms of technical expertise, documentation and code.

This role requires a self-starting capable team player with business and IT skills and the ability to effectively communicate with business contacts as well as the technical teams. They must be able to work in a professional manner with clients and at all times remain focused on key cloud support goals, primarily standardization of the service, financial effectiveness and client satisfaction.

A Cloud Operations Engineer will be required to work multiple highly-visibile projects at one time. The candidate must be highly organized, customer focused, commercially aware and lead by example.


  • 3-7 years of experience in Monitoring and Incident Management.
  • Experience working with IaaS & PaaS Cloud platform
  • Experience with virtualization ( Hyper- V, VMware) in a SaaS environment preferred
  • Experience in monitoring Servers, Applications & Network devices using monitoring tools like PRTG, Zabbix, AppDynamics.
  • Knowledge in Windows administration, Linux administration, Networking concepts, DB administration
  • Basic Knowledge on Active Directory, DNS, DHCP


  • Minimum programming knowledge or experience in scripting is preferred.
  • 24x7 Support Model should be ready to work in rotational shifts (including weekends)
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification is an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory, as the job involves often interaction with Service Delivery and Customer Support Team
