SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Collaboration Engineer to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany. The Collaboration Engineer will be responsible for the usage and managment of the data communication networks.
+ Manage usage and performance of voice, video and/or data communications networks.
+ Participates in all phases of computer operating/hardware systems engineering, including design, analysis, and modeling at a technical level.
+ Analyzes computer software/hardware requirements to provide integration and implementation support.
+ Performs operating/hardware systems engineering, including full life cycle design and development.
+ Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
+ Set up administrator and service accounts.
+ Maintain system documentation.
+ Monitor overall network health and troubleshoots reported events.
+ Develops site survey instruments to gather detailed user requirements and business process analysis data.
+ Coordinates all activities necessary to complete an engineering project or several small projects to specification and on schedule.
+ Designs and implements VoIP/Microsoft Windows user requirements as required.
+ Designs voice and video dial plans.
+ Creates tactics, techniques and procedures for installing Cisco VoIP application servers.
+ Experience with creating secure host baseline images for workstations and knowledge of DISA STIGS
+ Participate in special projects as required.
+ An active in-scope TS/SCI clearance
+ Cisco CCNP Collaboration
+ Must be able to obtain certification as a Technical Expert by the German Government under the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) process
+ AS degree plus 7 years of related experience within the last eight years.
+ DoD 8570.01 IAT level II certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
+ Operational experience with Cisco Unified Communication Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unity Express
+ Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft servers
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related discipline
+ MCSA/MCSE/MCITP certification
+ Knowledge of US Mission Command Systems (MCS), and NATO Functional Area Services (FAS) applications is a plus
+ Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
+ Recent experience supporting MNIS networks/systems
+ Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
+ Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
+ May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends.
