Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou

Located adjacent to the Guangzhou International Convention Centre, Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou is one of the newest luxury hotels in the capital of Guangdong Province. The hotel combines spectacular views of the Pearl River with elegant landscaped gardens, providing an urban oasis for guests' comfort and pleasure. The hotel has already become the new event and dining destination of Guangzhou. With our six restaurants and bars, two ballrooms and eight function rooms, we are able to cater to events of any scale.

RESPONSIBILITY

Assists in the development, co-ordination and execution of all communications activities.  Under the general guidance and supervision of the DOC/CM and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, promotes and maintains good communications in order to enhance the prestigious image of the hotel and by doing so contributes to the revenues of the hotel.

REQUIRMENTS 

  • Presentable and well groomed.

  • Outgoing personality with cheerful disposition

  • Ability to write and read English & Mandarin fluently

  • At least 2 years similar capacity or 3 years experience as Communications Executive in 5-star international hotel

  • Good contacts with local, domestics and international media. 

  • Requires minimum supervision.

  • Initiative and meticulous

  • Good communication skills and ability to interact well with the media.
