Glanbia plc is seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Compliance Analyst, who will work closely with Group Tax and the Business Unit Global Finance teams to drive and support transfer pricing implementation and compliance requirements of the Group’s entrepreneur model, the Glanbia Contract Services Model (“Glanbia CSM”). This is a 12 months fixed term maternity cover role and will report to the Group Head of Corporate Compliance – CSM and International Expansion. While likely to be initially remote working due to current requirements, the base location of the role will be either our head office in Kilkenny OR Citywest, Dublin 24 upon return to the workplace
This is a broad base facing role which includes direct exposure to the Group’s global operations including business restructurings and the continuing expansion of the Group and offers excellent exposure for the successful candidate.
Key Elements of the Role
Manage the transfer pricing implementation and ongoing compliance of the Glanbia CSM including business restructuring, expansion and new acquisitions projects.
Manage existing and set up new transfer pricing files for all Business Unit entities operating within the Glanbia CSM covering month end actual, forecast and budget reporting.
Set and analyse the profitability and pricing of products and services across global supply chains including preparing period end transfer price adjustments where required.
Provide leadership and guidance for the accounting treatment for all transfer pricing related transactions.
Assist in the management of audits by tax authorities on transfer pricing issues.
Work with the local Business Unit and Group Financial Reporting teams to support financial reporting including financial statement disclosures as it relates to the Glanbia CSM.
Provide support to the Group Tax team on a range of tax matters including structuring of business units, managing intercompany transactions and other transfer pricing considerations.
Other ad-hoc work as required including supporting various projects sponsored by senior management
Recognised Professional Accounting Qualification required.
Skills & Experience
Results driven individual with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualification accounting and commercial experience ideally gained within a multinational organisation.
Strong commercial acumen with good business understanding and commercial awareness – able to see the big picture.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information and delivered results.
Strong written communication and reporting ability with ability to communicate to stakeholders across various levels and functions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and present to senior management.
Strong relationship and network building skills with ability to quickly establish trust and collaboration.
Willingness to visit business unit locations, which will require international travel.
Self-motivated, proactive, ability to ensure tasks are finalised to strict deadlines.
Strong knowledge of SAP Finance.
Advanced Excel skills and strong Word, PowerPoint skills are essential.
An ability to work on own initiative, to deadlines, within a team environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a global business environment.
